AAT NEW JURISDICTIONS

Set out below is a list of the enactments that have altered the Administrative Appeals Tribunal's jurisdiction in the period 1 July 1998 to 30 June 1999 (as provided by the Administrative Appeals Tribunal's Principal Registry).

The following enactments conferred new jurisdiction on the AAT under that enactment, or the enactment noted in square brackets [which amends the principal enactment]:

The Principal Registry has advised that, as at 30 June 1999, the AAT has jurisdiction to review decisions made under 328 enactments. Two enactments also provide for the AAT to give advisory opinions.
