A Bill for

An Act to provide for the number of Ministers for the Territory

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

1 Name of Act

This Act is the Australian Capital Territory (Ministers) Act 2013.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

Note The naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act

, s 75 (1)).

3 Notes

A note included in this Act is explanatory and is not part of this Act.

4 Number of Ministers

The number of Ministers for the Territory is not to exceed 6.

Note The Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Act 1988

(Cwlth), s 41 (2) provides for the number of Ministers to be as provided by enactment.
