Territory-owned Corporations Amendment Bill 2007

A Bill for

An Act to amend the Territory-owned Corporations Amendment Act 2006

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

1 Name of Act

This Act is the Territory-owned Corporations Amendment Act 2007.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

Note The naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3 Legislation amended

This Act amends the Territory-owned Corporations Amendment Act 2006.

4 Commencement

Section 2 (2)

substitute

(2) If this Act has not commenced within 18 months beginning on its notification day, it automatically commences on—

(a) the first day after that period; or

(b) if another date is prescribed by regulation—on the prescribed date.
