Unit Titles Amendment Bill 2009

A Bill for

An Act to amend the Unit Titles Amendment Act 2008 (No 2), and for other purposes

The Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory enacts as follows:

1 Name of Act

This Act is the Unit Titles Amendment Act 2009.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day after its notification day.

Note The naming and commencement provisions automatically commence on the notification day (see Legislation Act, s 75 (1)).

3 Legislation amended

This Act amends the Unit Titles Amendment Act 2008 (No 2).

Note This Act also repeals the Unit Titles Amendment (No 2) Commencement Notice 2008 (No 1) (see s 5).

4 Section 2

2 Commencement—uncommenced provisions

(1) The following provisions commence on 1 July 2009:

(a) section 15;

(b) section 43;

(d) section 52, definition of manager;

(e) schedule 1, part 1.1 (other than amendment 1.3);

(f) schedule 1, amendment 1.10;

(g) schedule 1, amendment 1.15.

(2) The following provisions commence on 10 September 2009:

(a) section 4;

(b) section 48.

(3) The remaining provisions commence on 31 March 2009.

5 Repeal of CN2008-18

The Unit Titles Amendment (No 2) Commencement Notice 2008 (No 1) (CN2008-18) is repealed.
