Commonwealth Consolidated Acts Commonwealth Consolidated Acts(a) a day is fixed as the polling day for 2 or more elections under this Act; and
(b) at the hour of nomination there exist nominations of a person for 2 or more of those elections;
each of those nominations is invalid.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), where a person
has consented to act if elected in relation to a nomination in relation to an
election and the person withdraws that consent under section 177 before
the hour of nomination, the nomination of the person for the election shall be
taken to have ceased to have effect at the time when the person withdrew that
consent.
