Clause 1 Legislation Review Amendment (Family Impact) Bill 2005 The Legislature of New South Wales enacts: 1 1 Name of Act 2 This Act is the Legislation Review Amendment (Family Impact) 3 Act 2005. 4 2 Commencement 5 This Act commences on the date of assent to this Act. 6 3 Amendment of Legislation Review Act 1987 No 165 7 The Legislation Review Act 1987 is amended as set out in Schedule 1. 8 Page 2 Legislation Review Amendment (Family Impact) Bill 2005 Amendments Schedule 1 Schedule 1 Amendments 1 (Section 3) 2 [1] Section 8A Functions with respect to Bills 3 Insert at the end of section 8A (1) (b): 4 , and 5 (c) to report to both Houses of Parliament as to whether any 6 such Bill, by express words or otherwise, impacts on 7 families, and if so, the nature and extent of the impact. 8 [2] Section 9 Functions with respect to regulations 9 Insert after section 9 (1) (b) (ii): 10 (iia) that the regulation impacts on families, 11 Page 3
