An Act to amend the Liquor Act

The Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory enacts as follows:

1 Short title

This Act may be cited as the Liquor Amendment Act 2017.

2 Commencement

This Act commences on the day fixed by the Administrator by Gazette notice.

3 Act amended

This Act amends the Liquor Act.

4 Part III, Division 2AB repealed

Part XXIV Transitional matter for Liquor Amendment
Act 2017

167 Licence condition ceases to apply

(1) This section applies in relation to a licence that, immediately before the commencement, was subject to a condition under section 33AB.

(2) On the commencement, the condition ceases to apply to the licence.

(3) In this section:

commencement means the commencement of the Liquor Amendment Act 2017.

6 Repeal of Act

This Act is repealed on the day after it commences.
