The Legislative Assembly of the Northern Territory enacts as follows:


1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Racing and Betting Amendment Act 2002.

2. Commencement
This Act is taken to have come into operation on 15 February 2002.

3. Offences by bookmakers
Section 79 of the Racing and Betting Act is amended by omitting paragraph (g).
