The Parliament of Queensland enacts-- 1
Clause 1 Short title 2
This Act may be cited as the Right to Information 3
(Government-related Entities) Amendment Act 2011. 4
Clause 2 Act amended 5
This Act amends the Right to Information Act 2009. 6
Clause 3 Amendment of s 16 (Meaning of public authority) 7
(1) Section 16(1)-- 8
insert-- 9
`(ba) a corporation supported directly or indirectly by 10
government funds or other assistance or over which the 11
State, a Minister or a department is in a position to 12
exercise control;'. 13
(2) Section 16(4)-- 14
insert-- 15
`control means the capacity of an entity to dominate 16
decision-making, directly or indirectly, in relation to the 17
operation of another entity so as to enable the other entity to 18
operate with it in pursuing the objectives of the controlling 19
entity.'. 20
