Opal Mining (Reservation from Act) Variation Proclamation 2017
under section 4(2) of the Opal Mining Act 1995
1 By proclamation made pursuant to the Mining Act 1971
on 13 October 1977 (Gazette 13.10.1977 p1063) the following land, together with other land, was reserved from the operation of the Opal Mining Act 1995
(see Opal Mining Act 1995
Schedule 1 clause 1):
(a) section 752, north out of hundreds (Shellpatch Bore);
(b) section 753, north out of hundreds (Sputnik Bore);
(c) section 756, north out of hundreds (Stuart Range No. 7 Bore).
2 It is now intended that that proclamation be varied under the Opal Mining Act 1995
so that the land referred to in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) of clause 1 is no longer reserved from the operation of the Opal Mining Act 1995
.
Part 1—Preliminary
1—Short title
This proclamation may be cited as the Opal Mining (Reservation from Act) Variation Proclamation 2017.
2—Commencement
This proclamation will come into operation on 16 March 2017.
3—Variation provisions
In this proclamation, a provision under a heading referring to the variation of a specified proclamation varies the proclamation so specified.
Part 2—Variation of proclamation under Mining Act 1971 reserving land at Coober Pedy from operation of Act (Gazette 13.10.1977 p1063)
4—Variation of Schedule
(a) Schedule, clause 1—delete "752, 753,"
(b) Schedule, clause 1—delete ", 756"
(c) Schedule, clause 1—delete "Shellpatch Bore, Sputnik Bore,"
(d) Schedule, clause 1—delete ", Stuart Range No. 7 Bore"
