Public Sector (Department for Child Protection) Proclamation 2016
under sections 26 and 28 of the Public Sector Act 2009
1—Short title
This proclamation may be cited as the Public Sector (Department for Child Protection) Proclamation 2016.
2—Commencement
This proclamation will come into operation on 1 November 2016.
3—Establishment of administrative unit and designation of responsible Minister
(1) A department is established and assigned the title Department for Child Protection.
(2) The Minister for Education and Child Development is designated as the Department's Minister with responsibility for the Department.
