Statutes Amendment (Australian Energy Market Operator)
Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2009
This proclamation may be cited as the Statutes Amendment (Australian
Energy Market Operator) Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2009.
2—Commencement of Act and
suspension of certain provisions
(1) Subject to subclause (2), the Statutes Amendment (Australian
Energy Market Operator) Act 2009 (No 32 of 2009) will come into operation on
1 July 2009.
(2) The following provisions of the Act will come into operation on
1 October 2009:
(a) sections 24 to 30 (inclusive) and 32;
(b) Schedule 1, clauses 15 to 18 (inclusive) and 20 to 27
(inclusive).
