Statutes Amendment (Local Government Elections) Act
(Commencement) Proclamation 2005
This proclamation may be cited as the Statutes Amendment (Local
Government Elections) Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2005.
(1) Subject to subclause (2), the Statutes Amendment (Local
Government Elections) Act 2005 (No 35 of 2005) will come into operation on
18 August 2005.
(2) Sections 28, 31 to 42 (inclusive) and 46, and clause 5(1) of
Schedule 1, of the Act will come into operation of 1 January 2006.
