Statutes Amendment (Sentencing of Sex Offenders) Act
(Commencement) Proclamation 2005
This proclamation may be cited as the Statutes Amendment (Sentencing of
Sex Offenders) Act (Commencement) Proclamation 2005.
2—Commencement of Act and
suspension of certain provisions
(1) The Statutes Amendment (Sentencing of Sex Offenders) Act 2005
(No 31 of 2005) will come into operation on 11 August 2005.
(2) The operation of Part 3 of the Act (comprising sections 10 to 18) is
suspended until a day to be fixed by subsequent proclamation.
