CONSOLIDATED FUND APPROPRIATION
(SUPPLEMENTARY APPROPRIATION FOR
2011-12) BILL 2012

A BILL FOR
An Act for the appropriation of money out of the
Consolidated Fund for the service of the financial year
ending on 30 June 2012 for the purpose of making
contributions to Division 1, Department of Economic
Development, Tourism and the Arts, Division 3, Finance-
General, Division 4, Department of Health and Human
Services and Division 6, Department of Justice, of Part 2 of
Schedule 1 to the Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act
(No. 1) 2011
Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and
House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Consolidated Fund
Appropriation (Supplementary Appropriation for
2011-12) Act 2012.
2. Commencement
This Act is taken to have commenced on
1 July 2011.

3. Issue and appropriation of $45 500 000
(1) In respect of the financial year ending on
30 June 2012, the Treasurer may issue the sum of
$45 500 000 out of the Consolidated Fund.
(2) The sum specified in subsection (1) is
appropriated.
4. Purpose of appropriation
(1) The sum of $3 500 000 is to be applied to
Division 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the
Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1)
2011, Department of Economic Development,
Tourism and the Arts, representing a Recurrent
Services appropriation.
(2) The sum of $15 000 000 is to be applied to
Division 3 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the
Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1)
2011, Finance-General, representing a Recurrent
Services appropriation.
(3) The sum of $25 000 000 is to be applied to
Division 4 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the
Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1)
2011, Department of Health and Human
Services, representing a Recurrent Services
appropriation.
(4) The sum of $2 000 000 is to be applied to
Division 6 of Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the
Consolidated Fund Appropriation Act (No. 1)
