Any thing done or omitted in good faith that is done or omitted under, or authorised by, this Act or a direction or request under section 8 , section 9 or section 15 , does not, except as otherwise expressly provided by or under this Act or as provided or agreed by the person doing or omitting the thing (a) terminate or modify a contract, other instrument or obligation; or(b) give rise to a right to terminate or modify a contract, other instrument or obligation by fulfilling a condition or in any other manner; or(c) release a surety or other obligee wholly or in part from an obligation; or(d) give rise to any right or remedy by a party to a contract or other instrument; or(e) constitute a breach of a contract or other instrument; or(f) constitute a civil or criminal wrong; or(g) constitute a breach of confidence.
