The proprietor of a food business must not conduct the food business unless the proprietor has given written notice, in the approved form, of the information specified in the Food Safety Standards that is to be notified to the council of the municipal area in which the food business is located before the food business is conducted.Penalty: In the case of (a) an individual, a fine not exceeding 500 penalty units; or(b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 1 200 penalty units.
