EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the rule)

These rules –

(a) specify –

(i) general rules in relation to the mackerel fishery, including licensing and the use or prohibition of certain equipment; and

(ii) other miscellaneous matters related to the mackerel fishery; and

(b) replace the Fisheries (Mackerel) Rules 2009 .
