These regulations are administered in the Department of Infrastructure, Energy and Resources.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations –
(a) provide for various matters under the Mineral Resources Development Act 1995 including the marking out of land and the payment of royalties, fees and rents; and
(b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Mineral Resources Regulations 1996 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
