(1)  A person, other than a radiation safety officer, is exempt from the operation of section 13(1) of the Act in relation to the use of a gas chromatograph that contains Ni-63.

(2)  It is a condition of the exemption specified in subregulation (1) that the person has received the training specified in the approved radiation management plan in respect of the use of a gas chromatograph that contains Ni-63.

(3)  A gas chromatograph that contains Ni-63 is exempt from the operation of section 14 of the Act.
