Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting after paragraph (b) in item 414 in Subdivision 45 of Division 2 of Part 1 the following item:

(b) by omitting "L1 stage or L2 stage" from column 3 of item 510 in Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 2 and substituting "novice driver learner stage" ;

(c) by omitting "L1 stage or L2 stage" from column 3 of item 511 in Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 2 and substituting "novice driver learner stage" ;

(d) by omitting "L1 stage or L2 stage" from column 3 of item 512 in Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 2 and substituting "novice driver learner stage" ;

(e) by omitting "L1 stage or L2 stage" from column 3 of item 516 in Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 2 and substituting "novice driver learner stage" ;

(f) by inserting after item 520 in Subdivision 1 of Division 2 of Part 2 the following item:

These regulations amend the Traffic (Compliance and Enforcement) Regulations 2017 by prescribing certain offences under the Road Rules and the Vehicle and Traffic (Driver Licensing and Vehicle Registration) Regulations 2010 , that relate to certain learner drivers and provisional drivers.
