(1)  Subject to the conditions listed in clause 11 , regulation 22(3)(e)(ii) , (4)(d)(ii) , (7)(a) and (d) of the Vehicle Operations Regulations does not apply to a person using, or causing or permitting the use of, a vehicle or combination if –

(a) the vehicle or combination is equipped with one or more road-friendly suspension systems; and

(b) the person on whose behalf the vehicle or combination is being used is accredited under an approved mass-management scheme.

(2)  Subclause (1) does not apply to –

(a) a pig trailer; or

(b) a tri-axle group fitted to a motor vehicle.
