The exemption under clause 28 of a person using, or causing or permitting the use of, a 14.9-metre refrigerated semi-trailer is subject to the following conditions:

(a) the combination must consist of a prime mover and a single semi-trailer;

(b) the trailer must be designed and built for the positive control of temperature through the use of refrigeration equipment;

(c) the distance between the point of articulation at the front of the trailer and the rear of the trailer must not exceed 13.6 metres;

(d) the distance between the point of articulation at the front of the trailer and the trailer rear overhang line must not exceed 9.9 metres;

(e) the length of the trailer must not exceed 14.9 metres;

(f) the combination must not exceed 19 metres in length.
