Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered ActsWithin 28 days after the commencement of this Act, a proprietor who has received a security deposit, a fee paid in advance, an establishment fee or a reservation fee in respect of a resident on or before that commencement must place the security deposit or any remaining balance of a reservation fee, an establishment fee or a fee paid in advance into a trust account in accordance with Division 3 of Part 5 of this Act.
Penalty: 120 penalty units in the case of a natural person;
600 penalty units in the case of a body corporate.
