The Regulator or an authorised officer may issue a prohibition notice to a registered social service provider if the Regulator or the authorised officer reasonably believes that—
(a) the provider is contravening—
(i) the conditions of registration; or
(ii) the Social Services Standards; or
(iii) a provision of this Act or the regulations; and
(b) the continuing contravention poses a serious risk to the health or safety of a person.
