SOCIAL SERVICES REGULATION ACT 2021 (NO. 37 OF 2021) - SECT 182

    (1)     During the administration period, the social service provider must not issue any notice to vacate to a resident without the consent of the administrator.

Penalty:     60 penalty units, in the case of an individual;

300 penalty units, in the case of a body corporate.

Note

Section 297 provides that this section is a civil penalty provision. The penalty for contravention of this civil penalty provision is set out in the table in section 297.

    (2)     The administrator must not unreasonably withhold consent to the issuing of a notice to vacate referred to in subsection (1).
