Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister, by Order may approve a compliance code for the purposes of providing practical guidance to any registered social service provider who has a duty or obligation under this Act or the regulations.
(2) The Order approving a compliance code takes effect on the day on which notice of the Order is published in the Government Gazette, or any later day specified in the Order.
(3) The Minister must not recommend the approval of a compliance code unless the Minister is satisfied that the proposed compliance code has first been subject to the prescribed consultation requirements (if any).
