(1) For the purposes of this Act or the regulations, an authorised officer who takes any action under section 119(f) or (g), or a person who assists an authorised officer in taking any action under section 119(f) or (g), may prepare and sign a report in writing about that action or the results of that action.
(2) In any proceeding for an offence against this Act or the regulations, a report under subsection (1) is evidence of any of the following matters described in the report—
(a) that a thing or sample was examined, analysed, measured or tested at a stated place on a stated day or during a stated period;
(b) the qualifications of the person who conducted the examination, analysis, measurement or testing;
(c) the methodology used to examine, analyse, measure or test a thing or sample;
(d) the results of the examination, analysis, measurement or test.
