Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) The Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister, may by Order appoint as many persons to be Panel candidates for the purposes of this Division as the Governor in Council considers necessary.
(2) The Minister must not recommend the appointment of a person as a Panel candidate unless the person has qualifications and experience in law, social work, psychology, the behaviour of criminal offenders or any other discipline that is considered likely to be relevant to the functions of a Panel.
(3) A Panel candidate—
(a) may at any time resign as a Panel candidate by writing to the Minister; and
(b) may at any time be removed as a Panel candidate by Order of the Governor in Council on the recommendation of the Minister.
