(1) A Panel by written notice may require a person to attend before the Panel for either or both of the following purposes—
(a) to produce any specified document or thing;
(b) to give information or evidence relating to an allegation of misconduct.
(2) A notice under subsection (1) must—
(a) state that it is an offence to fail or refuse to comply with the notice without reasonable excuse; and
(b) state the maximum penalty for failing or refusing to comply with the notice; and
(c) set out examples of what may constitute a reasonable excuse for failing or refusing to comply with the notice; and
(d) any other information the Panel considers appropriate.
