Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) Subject to subsection (2), the Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Attorney-General, may by instrument appoint a person as Commissioner.
(2) A person is not eligible for appointment as Commissioner if the person is a member of the Parliament of Victoria or the Parliament of the Commonwealth or of another State or a Territory.
