ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION (SCHEDULED PREMISES AND EXEMPTIONS) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2009 (SR NO 152 OF 2009) - REG 1

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Environment Protection (Scheduled Premises and Exemptions) Regulations 2007—

        (a)     to provide for an exemption from provisions of the Environment Protection Act 1970 as a result of the Greenhouse Gas Geological Sequestration Act 2008 ; and

        (b)     to clarify existing exemption provisions in the Regulations; and

        (c)     to make consequential amendments as a result of the Environment Protection (Industrial Waste Resource) Regulations 2009.
