SUPREME COURT (GENERAL CIVIL PROCEDURE) RULES 2005 (SR NO 148 OF 2005) - REG 58.01

Procedure

    (1)     Subject to paragraph (3), an appeal from the County Court constituted by a Judge shall be in accordance with Order 64, with any necessary modification, and section 74 of the County Court Act 1958 .

    (2)     Subject to this Order and any Act, any other appeal from the County Court, or against a determination of any court or tribunal as if it were a determination of the County Court, shall be heard by a Judge and shall be in accordance with Order 4 of Chapter II, with any necessary modification.

    (3)     An appeal on a question of law under section 52 of the Accident Compensation Act 1985 shall be in accordance with Order 64, with any necessary modification, and that section.
