Sums available for the purposes voted by the Legislative Assembly 2 page i 1--1 Western Australia LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY Supply Bill 2001 A Bill for An Act to apply out of the Consolidated Fund the sum of $5,500 million for the service of the financial year ending on 30 June 2002. The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows: 1. Short title This Act may be cited as the Supply Act 2001. 2. Commencement 5 This Act comes into operation on the day on which it receives Royal Assent. page 1 Supply Bill 2001 s. 3 3. Issue and application of $5,500,000,000 (1) There is to be issued and may be applied out of the Consolidated Fund as supply granted to Her Majesty for the year from 1 July 2001 to 30 June 2002, the following sums -- 5 (a) for recurrent services $5,100,000,000; and (b) for capital services $400,000,000. (2) The Treasurer is empowered to issue and authorised to apply the moneys granted by subsection (1). 4. Sums available for the purposes voted by the Legislative 10 Assembly The sums referred to in section 3(1) shall be available to satisfy the warrants under the hand of the Governor, given under the provisions of the law now in force, for any services voted by the Legislative Assembly during the financial year ending 15 30 June 2002.
