(1) Each provision of this Act specified in column 1 of the table

commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with

column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect

according to its terms.

Omit "he or she is aged between 2 and 18 years", substitute "the person

is aged under 18 years".

2 Subsection 23(1)

Repeal the subsection, substitute:

Persons to whom this section applies

(1) This section applies to a person, in relation to a calendar year, if

the person is aged under 18 years on 1 January in the calendar year.
