Clause 1 Appropriation (Parliament) Bill 2009
The Legislature of New South Wales enacts: 1
1 Name of Act 2
This Act is the Appropriation (Parliament) Act 2009. 3
2 Commencement 4
This Act commences or is taken to have commenced on 1 July 2009. 5
3 Interpretation 6
(1) In this Act, a reference to the year 2009-10 is a reference to the year 7
from 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010. 8
(2) A reference in the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 to an or the 9
Appropriation Act includes a reference to this Act. 10
4 Appropriation for recurrent services 11
(1) This Act appropriates the sum of $104,322,000 to the Legislature out of 12
the Consolidated Fund for the recurrent services of the Legislature for 13
the year 2009-10. 14
(2) Any amounts expended for recurrent services under section 25 of the 15
Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 or any Parliamentary Supply Act on 16
or after 1 July 2009 and before the date of assent to this Act are taken to 17
have been expended out of the sum appropriated by this section. 18
5 Appropriation for capital works and services 19
(1) This Act appropriates the sum of $3,836,000 to the Legislature out of 20
the Consolidated Fund for the capital works and services of the 21
Legislature for the year 2009-10. 22
(2) Any amounts expended for capital works and services under section 25 23
of the Public Finance and Audit Act 1983 or any Parliamentary Supply 24
Act on or after 1 July 2009 and before the date of assent to this Act are 25
taken to have been expended out of the sum appropriated by this 26
section. 27
