EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations, made under Part 4 of the Nature Conservation Act 2002 –(a) regulate deer farming by requiring, amongst other things, the approval of deer farm fences to prevent the escape of farm deer into the wild; and(b) are made consequentially on the repeal of the Wildlife Regulations 1999 under section 11 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1992 .
