PARLIAMENT OF VICTORIA Introduced in the Assembly Statute Law Revision Bill 2017 A Bill for an Act to revise the statute law of Victoria. The Parliament of Victoria enacts: 1 Purpose The purpose of this Act is to revise the statute law of Victoria. 2 Commencement 5 (1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act comes into operation on 1 September 2017. (2) The following items in Schedule 1 are taken to have come into operation on the following dates-- (a) item 19 on 30 June 2016; 10 (b) item 20 on 30 April 2016; (c) item 22 on 30 June 2015; (d) item 30 on 10 May 2016. 581231B.I-7/2/2017 1 BILL LA INTRODUCTION 7/2/2017

Statute Law Revision Bill 2017 3 Amendment of Acts--General amendments On the commencement of an item in Schedule 1, the Act specified in the heading to that item is amended as set out in that item. 5 4 Amendment of Acts--Administrative arrangements On the commencement of an item in Schedule 2, the Act specified in the heading to that item is amended as set out in that item. 5 Repeal of Acts 10 The Acts listed in Schedule 3 (to the extent that they are not already repealed) are repealed. 6 Repeal of amending Act This Act is repealed on 1 September 2018.
